Snow fell in the Sahara desert, this is a marvelous thing that is almost unbelievable. Snow fell in the Sahara where the temperature is 50 degrees Celsius. The snow was blowing on the streets of Bechar. There was snow and rain for 24 hours. The people said this was like a blessing because it got rid of all the parasites in the palms. This happened only once as far as man can remember in February of 1979 but it lasted only for 30 minutes.
When I first heard this i didn't believe it, snowin the Sahara desert is a very rare thing to hear and to see it is amazing. But i wonder who is going to clean all that snow in 50 degrees Celsius. It would be funny if they had a ski resort there but it would bankrupt because there is no hills to ski from and snow falls about every 30 years.
