Can Playing Videogames Make You More Creative?
Recent studies led by Linda Jackson a university psychology professor have said that playing videogames can make you more creative. The test started of with 500 12 year old kids doing a Torrance Test of Creative Thinking, which is a test that involves drawing an interesting picture, titling it and making a story about it. They discovered that things like phones and computer didnt do much but that kids that played videogames were much more creative. Scientists hope that game developers will find out what makes the kid creative in a game and use it more often.
MY OPINION
This is probably the best news I ever heard because now I can use it as an excuse for playing videogames a lot. I wonder if all games like adventure or shooters also help with creativity. I hope game developers make games for creativity but they are still as fun as today's games.
